Congratulations to Alvin Yau for winning the
bronze medal in the Prepared Speech Contest at the TCDSB level of
the Skills Ontario Competition. Way to go, Alvin!
Staff at Francis Libermann CHS were recently
nominated for the Learning Partnership 2009 National Technology
Innovation Awards. Ms. Cifelli, Mr. Papadimitriou and Mr. McCollum
were recognized for their cutting edge Video Pod Casting in
the Classroom. Congratulations!
Siobhan Pereira, a Grade 12 student, and Shannon Pereira, a Grade
7 student, are both nationally ranked within the sport of Field
Hockey. They have been nominated for the Ontario Gold Athlete
Assistance Program. The sisters will receive Gold Athlete OAAP
funding for their athletic achievements and participation within
their sport.
Siobhan Pereira recently won another Gold Medal at the National
Field Hockey Competition. She is a member of the Ontario team
that has won back-to-back National titles. Congratulations, Siobhan!
